My first summary was about desert police patrols; the teacher told us to look at the title
first then to skim for the main ideas and he told us to focus at the first and
last paragraphs and to skip the names and quotations, we did what he told us
trying to cover all the important
points and get the main ideas of each paragraph.
The second one was about car accidents being the biggest cause
of child death in the UAE and how people ignore the importance of the child car
seats and how it helps them to avoid
a lot of problems, however the article has a lot of names and things that have
been told by people and we tried to get the main points of the passage.
The last summary we did was about touring in the waters
of Jebel Ali and pearl diving experience for the locals and tourists and how
some people hope to save this sport from getting
forgotten. In my opinion it was the easiest
one and the last two summaries we did helped us a lot in our summaries experience.
